Recently, we had the pleasure of meeting with Mr. Jon Vicenzi, President of Anna State Bank, a dedicated and longtime investor in the UCCEO program. We are incredibly grateful for their unwavering support and commitment to our mission.

Anna State Bank has been a cornerstone of the community for over 90 years. With one physical location and 18 employees, the bank remains locally owned by shareholders while offering a full range of modern banking services, including online and mobile banking. Despite keeping up with technology, they continue to provide the personal touch that community banks are known for.

During our visit, we were captivated by the bank’s history, particularly the stunning paintings in the conference room depicting both the original bank and its 1970s renovation. Imagining the evolution of the bank over time was a powerful reminder of Union County’s rich history. Another highlight was the beautiful conference table, crafted from a wood slab purchased from locally owned Heartland Lumber and finished by CLS Woodworks, another Union County business. Sitting around that table and engaging in meaningful conversation with Mr. Vicenzi made our visit even more special.

Anna State Bank has supported the UCCEO program from the very beginning, generously contributing through investments, sponsorships, and participation in events like Banker Day. At our recent Banker Day, we were honored to welcome Greg George and Kayla Penninger as representatives of the bank. Their involvement means so much to us.
